How will I know if you’re the right fit?
We offer an initial free 30-minute consultation to determine whether we’re a good fit. We will talk about your project, its scope and we will determine the basic steps and structure needed to proceed.
At the end of our meeting you are free to decide whether you want to move forward with the partnership.
What happens after I say ‘yes’ to working with you?
After we say “yes” we will finalize the agreement by agreeing on the scope of the project and terms of the contract. This includes the length of time it will take, expected end date, anticipated hours of work and extension pay – basically the deliverables – what you’re paying me to hand over to you at the end of our contract.
How long will it take for my project to be completed?
The scope of the project will determine the length of time it will take to complete. The larger the scope, the longer it will take. And the smaller the scope, the shorter it will take. In our and contract we will discuss and come to an agreement on delivery dates.
What about pricing?
I have three forms of pricing structures: Project Based, Milestone Based and Hourly Based. With every pricing structure, the based on the scope of the project Three pricing based structures based on the scope of your project. See F.A.Q.s for more information on pricing.
How do you calculate your Project-Based pricing?
Project based pricing is based on the scope of the project (how big the project is and how long it will take to put together) If the scope is large then to project cost will be higher than if the project is smaller and less complex. Project based pricing provides ease of mind when it comes to predicting the budget as it is one fixed price.
And Milestone-Based?
Milestone based pricing is where we break down the project into smaller sections and distribute the total project bill over multiple billing dates, instead of paying one or two lump sums. With this structure we would discuss the scope of the project, break it down into bite-sized pieces or milestones and then discuss the deliverables and payment for each milestone. The benefit of milestone based pricing is that both parties can keep tabs on the progress of the project at different junctures. It’s also great for larger projects and projects that span over a longer period of time.
What is the benefit of hourly pricing then?
An hourly based project rate can be beneficial if the project scope is fairly small. Hourly rates are $35/hr and $20/hr for charities, with a minimum of two hours with every project.
